Job summary

Andersen Corporation seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor II (Value Stream Supervisor II) to support the Value Stream Manager in driving continuous improvement for a stable value stream. You will lead a manufacturing crew, deliver SQDCP metrics, and guide team leads and production employees toward operational excellence.

Responsibilities include leading A3 projects, coaching, ensuring standard work and training, and fostering inclusion and morale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent education and leadership experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Business acumen and knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proven leadership abilities in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead A3 Plan / A3 projects for manufacturing crew, utilizing current and future state value stream maps.
• Deliver business metric results (SQDCP), utilizing tiered management system.
• Provide direct leadership to value stream team leads, production employees and potentially other supervisors.
• Provide indirect leadership to other support functions and other supervisors (matrix organization).
• Provide coaching, feedback and development to manufacturing crew, Team Leads, and Supervisors, promoting career growth opportunities.
• Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through standard work and training to those standards, training in operation and inspection techniques, and use of tools/data.
• Promote going to gemba to solve problems, promoting hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Establish an environment conducive to high levels of inclusion, morale, associate satisfaction, and performance.
