Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Value Stream Manager for a second shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will lead a cross-functional team on the factory floor, driving schedules, continuous improvements, and production strategies to meet delivery commitments.

The role requires a university degree with 5+ years of manufacturing or operations experience, strong leadership, and the ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent; 5+ years in manufacturing or operations.
• Experience leading a team or in a managerial role.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of 10+ bargaining unit employees and staff.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with upstream and downstream teams.
• Develop and sustain product-focused processes, tooling, and equipment architecture.
• Lead lean transformation and CORE structure execution.
• Plan labor forecasts and schedule manufacturing workflows.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost priorities.
