Job summary

Hytek Finishes Co. is seeking a Value Stream Manager in Kent, WA to support the Senior Production Manager and lead a multi-shift production team. You will drive productivity, manage metrics, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery to customers.

This exempt, full-time role requires strong leadership, HR collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will oversee hiring, development of shift supervisors, and compliance with policies while leading safety and performance initiatives across the

Qualifications

• ERP knowledge including Infor Syteline and Shop-Trak is preferred.
• Strong MS Office proficiency with Excel for data trend analysis.
• High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Able to document performance issues discreetly.
• Excellent time management with multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Regular attendance is required.
• English reading/writing/comms skills are essential.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug tests.
• Export control compliance required

Responsibilities

• Manage production hourly employees across departments.
• Ensure high levels of quality and safety.
• Direct workforce while meeting customer demand and on-time delivery.
• Lead productivity projects to achieve cost savings.
• Collaborate with HR on recruiting, onboarding and development.
• Develop and maintain SWI for production efficiencies.
• Provide timely schedules and audit support.
• Ensure proper training on rules, policies and safety.
• Set annual goals with senior management and coach direct reports.
• Lead succession planning and develop leads within the team.
• Conduct performance reviews and calibrate across teams.
