Job summary

Hytek Finishes is seeking a Sr. Production Manager in Kent, WA to lead the shop floor transformation and grow leaders across three shifts.

You will partner with the VP of Operations to drive productivity, cost performance, and operational excellence while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will coach teams, improve labor and productivity trends, and use data to guide decisions that impact cost and throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience building leadership capability and succession pipelines across multi-shift production.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and Nadcap requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive shop-wide productivity and continuous improvement initiatives delivering cost savings and performance gains.
• Ensure safety, quality, and execution while fostering accountability.
• Set and monitor production metrics and act to improve on-time delivery and throughput.
• Develop the production leadership bench across all shifts.
• Partner with HR on recruiting, onboarding, and career development.
• Promote quality assurance through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead annual goals with the VP of Operations and strengthen leadership capability.
• Lead succession planning across production teams.
• Maintain Standard Work Instructions for safe, repeatable operations.
• Provide audit support with schedules, reports, and documentation.
