Job summary

Hytek Finishes Co. is hiring a Production Value Stream Manager to lead a high‑performing team in Kent, WA. This exempt, full‑time role focuses on on‑time delivery, quality, and continuous improvement across all shifts.

You will develop talent, manage production leads and supervisors, and partner with HR to recruit and retain top performers while driving cost savings and plant-wide productivity initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in manufacturing/ops.
• 5–7 years of management experience in a production environment.
• Read/write/communicate in English; able to pass background checks and export controls.

Responsibilities

• Direct production hourly employees across departments and shifts.
• Drive on-time delivery, quality, and safety in the value stream.
• Lead productivity projects to realize cost savings and improvements.
• Partner with HR on recruiting, onboarding, and staff development.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions for production.
• Coach and develop shift supervisors and leads; perform reviews.
