Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Value Stream Team Leader to drive the operation of one or more plant value streams. You will implement the Parker Lean system and Win Strategy under the Value Stream Manager, ensuring a safe work environment, quality improvements, premier customer service, and cost reductions through continuous improvements.

You will oversee day-to-day activities, develop associates, manage employment decisions, and lead efforts across production control, supply chain, and shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Background in accounting, PC skills, manufacturing, human resources and inventory control.
• Demonstrated teamwork and teambuilding skills; promote safety and positive change.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• LEAN experience or leading LEAN teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and continuous improvements across plant value streams.
• Oversee supply chain, production control, manufacturing priorities and shifts coordination.
• Establish standardized work and processes; ensure safety and 5S compliance.
• Foster a positive team atmosphere; hold regular team meetings and coordinate cross-department support.
• Provide cross training for associates and backups to ensure continuity.
• Collaborate with Value Stream Manager to map future state value stream and track progress.
