Job summary

IDEX Corporation is seeking a Value Stream Manager in New Jersey to lead the end-to-end value stream from order to delivery and post-sale support. The role requires coordinating manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and quality to meet lead time, throughput, and cost goals, while coaching the team in lean methods and problem solving.

You will drive daily production goals, mentor staff, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
• Three or more years in supervision or manufacturing technical support; or five to ten years in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee value stream performance to achieve sales plan and on-time delivery (OTD).
• Lead safety initiatives, audits, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with supply chain and warehousing to implement Kanban and material pull.
• Develop current/future state value stream maps and drive lean transformations.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration across operations, quality, engineering, finance and customer service.
