Job summary

Airtech Vacuum, part of IDEX Performance Pneumatics, is seeking a Value Stream Manager in New Jersey. You will drive lean improvements across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and quality to optimize lead times, throughput and costs.

Build a culture focused on continuous improvement and coaching teams on lean principles. The role oversees daily management to align operations with sales plans, while supporting S&OP and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field with 3+ years supervising or in manufacturing support.
• Five to ten years of experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or process improvement

Responsibilities

• Oversee value stream to meet sales plan and on-time delivery; monitor KPIs and address bottlenecks.
• Promote a safe work environment; conduct safety audits and investigations.
• Partner with supply chain and warehousing to implement material pull and kanban.
• Develop current and future value stream maps; lead lean transformation.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication across operations, quality, engineering, finance and customer service.
• Support S&OP to improve inventory management and service; assist capacity planning.
• Coach teams on continuous improvement; foster accountability.
• Oversee 5S activities for clean staging of materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
