M-B Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Chilton, Wisconsin, seeks a Value Stream Manager to supervise the fabrication team and coordinate assembly of M-B vehicles and sub-components. This role manages inventory for the cell and ensures parts and tools are available for production.

The position emphasizes lean practices, cost reduction, safety, and mentoring staff to meet daily TAKT targets while collaborating with engineering, quality, and stockrooms.

Qualifications

• On-call availability for 2nd and 3rd shift to address issues.
• Lean manufacturing experience and TAKT-time leadership.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with PDM and ERP systems Windchill/Epicor.
• Ability to monitor schedules/metrics and report progress.
• Commitment to safety and EH&S compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure engineering print requirements are met and address non-conforming parts with engineering.
• Maintain minimal inventories to meet daily requirements and coordinate with stockroom.
• Reduce operating costs by managing timekeeping, worker efficiency, and job standards.
• Collaborate with assembly line stages and quality to identify defects and address NCRs.
• Assist supervision, including interviewing, training, planning, directing work, and enforcing policy.
