Ontic is seeking a Value Stream Engineer in Creedmoor, NC, reporting to the Director of Engineering. You will lead technical activities and IPT-delivered projects across product lifecycles, coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to drive timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline (or equivalent technical experience).
• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience in production, engineering, or value stream.
• Experience planning projects, schedules, and budgets for small to mid-size technical projects.
• Experience in cross-functional IPT environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
• Ability to coordinate activities and deliverables across functions.
• Experience identifying, evaluating, and mitigating technical risks.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Exposure to ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and support for assigned product lines within the Value Stream.
• Own and coordinate engineering deliverables throughout program lifecycles.
• Support development and execution of project plans, schedules, requirements and budgets.
• Lead delivery of complex work packages with cross-functional IPT resources.
• Collaborate with Value Stream and Engineering leadership to meet objectives.
• Translate customer requirements into defined technical requirements.
• Monitor changes and assess impacts to scope and schedule.
• Serve as technical interface between customers, Engineering and stakeholders.
• Maintain customer relationships through proactive communication and support.
• Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales and leadership to resolve issues.
