Job summary

Ontic is seeking a Value Stream Engineer to provide technical leadership across product lines within the Value Stream at our onsite Creedmoor, NC facility. You will manage lifecycle deliverables, collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales, and drive IPT-driven execution.

The role requires a engineering degree and 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Aerospace or related engineering discipline (or equivalent).
• 2–5 years manufacturing experience in production, engineering or value stream.
• Experience defining project plans, schedules and budgets for small to mid-size technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and engineering support for assigned product lines within the Value Stream.
• Own and coordinate engineering deliverables throughout the lifecycle of programs and projects.
• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, technical requirements, and budgets.
• Lead technical delivery of complex work packages within an IPT structure.
• Collaborate with Value Stream and Engineering leadership to meet objectives.

You will report to the **Director of Engineering** and will have an **onsite work structure in Creedmoor, North Carolina**.The Value Stream Engineer is responsible for the technical support and execution of assigned product lines within the Value Stream. Working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) structure, you will provide technical leadership throughout the lifecycle of programs and projects while partnering closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Value Stream leadership.This role combines technical expertise, project execution, and cross-functional leadership.
