Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Associate Specialist for Value Stream Cryo Operations in Summit, NJ. The role focuses on cryopreservation, storage, and movement of clinical materials, ensuring chain of custody and GMP adherence in a fast-paced cell therapy facility.

The position supports cold chain transfers, batch records, CAPA investigations, and cross-department process improvements. A BS or related degree with 0–4 years of manufacturing/ops experience is expected, with on-site shift

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 0-2 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience OR Associate/ Medical Technical degree with 0-2 years of experience OR High School diploma/GED with 2-4 years of experience.
• Familiarity with GMP/regulated environments and documentation practices.
• Able to operate in cleanroom environments with appropriate PPE.
• Ability to work OT when required and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient material through cryopreservation, storage, distribution, transfer, and disposal.
• Maintain sample tracking and chain-of-custody records per GMP and SOPs.
• Destroy obsolete samples per procedures and prepare storage reports.
• Assist investigations and deviations related to sample management.
• Coordinate with other departments to improve processes and maintain metrics.
