Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Specialist, Value Stream Cryo Operations in Summit, NJ, to manage cryopreservation, storage, and movement of patient materials within a CAR T manufacturing facility. You will ensure proper chain of custody and GMP-compliant handling of samples on a day shift.

Responsibilities include sample tracking, storage reports, investigations, and cross-functional collaboration to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or operations role.
• Experience with cold chain storage, GMP requirements, and documentation.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and create basic reports.
• Familiarity with cGMP/FDA regulated environments and SOPs.
• Strong writing skills to document investigations and deviations.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient material through Cryopreservation, storage, and distribution following SOPs.
• Maintain chain-of-custody records and ensure GDP-compliant documentation.
• Destroy obsolete samples per procedures and perform periodic storage queries.
• Assist investigations and deviations related to sample management.
• Collaborate with departments to improve process efficiencies and metrics.
• Manage cold chain transfers and ensure on-time Cryo operations support.
