Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Summit, NJ is seeking an Associate Specialist for Value Stream Cryo Operations to manage cryopreservation, storage, and chain-of-custody for patient materials. You will ensure compliance with cGMPs and SOPs while supporting production schedules and data records.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, comfort with OT, and ability to work in a fast-paced GMP environment. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with cold chain sample storage and transfer.
• Knowledge of cGMP/FDA regulated industry.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient material through cryopreservation, storage, distribution, transfer and disposal.
• Maintain sample tracking and chain of custody records per GMP requirements.
• Ensure obsolete or expired samples and materials are destroyed per procedures.
• Perform sample queries and periodic storage reports as required.
• Assist investigations and deviations related to sample management.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process efficiencies.
• Maintain metrics for the Value Stream Cryo Operations group.
• Facilitate cold chain transfers of material as required.
