Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Value Stream Product Specialist in Houston to own configuration and order integrity from customer requirements to manufacturable product definitions. You will ensure that all products released to the line meet customer specifications, quality requirements, and delivery expectations while linking customer care, engineering, supply chain, and production.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in manufacturing, product configuration, or engineering support roles.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into production requirements.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a manufacturing or value stream environment.
• Knowledge of BOM structures, engineering change processes, and production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into complete, accurate, and buildable product configurations for right-first-time manufacturing.
• Review and validate work orders to ensure alignment with specs and internal requirements.
• Identify discrepancies and drive resolution with stakeholders before production begins.
• Maintain and control product configurations, ensuring correct parameters and test requirements.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing operations with clear guidance for builds.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and quality to align requirements and production.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement to reduce defects.
