Job summary

Dresser Utility Solutions GmbH in Houston, TX is seeking a Value Stream Product & Quality Engineer to own mechanical design integrity and quality performance across the B-Series value stream. You will drive root-cause analysis, ECOs, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer requirements and lean manufacturing goals.

As part of the team, you will lead problem-solving efforts (5 Whys, Fishbone), support Kaizen events, and ensure containment, corrective actions, and supplier

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BEng in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 8+ years in mechanical design in manufacturing.
• 3D/2D CAD (Creo/AutoCAD) and BOM management experience.
• Root cause analysis and structured problem solving.
• Cross-functional work in manufacturing/value stream.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design integrity for B-Series products.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage ECOs, drawings, and BOM updates.
• Serve as technical authority for product issues on the value stream.
• Support TPS/Lean culture and Kaizen activities.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to production line.
