Job summary

West Monroe is seeking an Experienced Consultant to join our Consumer and Industrial Products Value Creation Group, working with retail, consumer, manufacturing, and industrial clients to turn insights into measurable business value.

You will analyze data, build models, and develop solutions that improve planning, forecasting, procurement, and operations across functions, delivering executive-ready deliverables and collaborating with client teams to drive adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; analytics fields preferred.
• 1–4 years of project-based consulting experience in value creation or operations.
• Experience on at least three programs in manufacturing, retail, or industrial clients.
• Experience leading workstreams with supply chain planning or procurement.
• Strong critical thinking and structured problem solving.
• Advanced data analysis and modeling; Excel expert; ppt/word proficiency.
• Familiar with SQL, R, Python; willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Strong communication and executive-ready deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client engagements across value creation and performance transformation.
• Develop data-driven views of client performance to identify opportunities.
• Build models and business cases quantifying impact on P&L and balance sheet.
• Assess and improve processes, operating models, and enabling technology.
• Document requirements and translate into use cases and implementation plans.
• Synthesize analysis into concise materials for executives.
• Collaborate with clients and teams to implement opportunities and drive adoption.
• Contribute to proposals and West Monroe methodologies; support recruiting.
