Job summary

Oak Street Health seeks a Primary Care Physician to deliver equitable, value-based healthcare to local Medicare populations at our neighborhood centers. You’ll work within a large care team to emphasize quality of care over volume, with outcomes-driven bonuses.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. Center Medical Director roles may also be considered. Typical weekly hours are 40, full-time, with competitive benefits and a comprehensive compensation range.

Qualifications

• MD/DO graduate required.
• Board certification in internal or family medicine, or board eligible.
• Active, unrestricted state medical license required.
• DEA license required.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients at local clinics.
• Oversee, direct, and administer primary care.
• Prescribe and administer pharmaceutical treatments and medications.
• Maintain patient electronic medical records via canopy and greenway.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet health quality goals.
• Direct and manage the center care team with Practice Managers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

MD/DO (Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy)

Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Active, unrestricted State License

Active DEA license

US work authorization
