Job summary

PacificSource in Boise, Idaho is seeking a health analytics professional to support data extraction, cleaning, and reporting for critical analysis and RFP processes. You will develop visualizations with Tableau or Power BI, work with data warehouses and nonstandard sources, and ensure accuracy and timely delivery across employer groups and ASO projects.

Preferred candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years in health insurance analytics, with knowledge of SAS,

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in health insurance or related field.
• Healthcare analytics experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Health and Medical Economics, Public Health or similar research related field.
• General knowledge of statistics/analytical programming tools (R, SAS, SPSS).

Responsibilities

• Provide data support and coordination for analytics and reporting needs.
• Extract data from data warehouse and nonstandard sources to meet project requirements.
• Clean, transform, and pre-process data using t-SQL, SAS, and similar tools.
• Develop data visualizations with Tableau or Power BI for interactive data analysis.
• Develop reports and analytical processes to support RFPs, ASO, and employer groups.
• Assist in cost and utilization analysis related to RFPs and sales requests.
