Job summary

PacificSource is seeking a data analytics specialist to support critical analysis and reporting needs in a healthcare environment.

You will extract data from warehouses and nonstandard sources, clean and transform data, and develop Tableau/Power BI visuals for stakeholders. This role requires 3+ years in health insurance analytics, knowledge of SAS/R/SPSS, and strong communication to handle multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in health insurance or related field.
• Healthcare analytics experience preferred.
• General knowledge of statistics and analytics tools (R/SAS/SPSS).
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide data support and coordination for analysis and reporting needs.
• Extract data from data warehouse and other sources; clean and preprocess.
• Develop visualizations using Tableau or Power BI for stakeholders.
• Create reports for RFPs, ASO, employers, and state/federal requests.
• Support cost and utilization analyses and financial reconciliation reporting.
• Document processes and train team on data resources.
