Job summary

PacificSource in Bend, OR is seeking a health analytics professional to provide data support and develop analytics for RFPs, large employers, and state/federal reporting. You will extract data from the data warehouse using t-SQL and SAS, and build visualizations with Tableau and Power BI to support accurate, timely reporting and cost insights.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in health insurance or related field.
• Healthcare analytics experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Health and Medical Economics, Public Health or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Provides essential data support and coordination activities for various business critical analysis and reporting needs.
• Perform accurate and complete data extraction from data warehouse and nonstandard data sources to meet project requirements using t-SQL, SAS, etc.
• Support development of data visualization solutions with Tableau or Power BI.
• Develop reports and analytical solutions to support RFPs, large employer, ASO and state/federal requests.
• Calculate and analyze value-based payment terms and support monthly reporting and financial reconciliation processes.
• Assist in presenting complex data and findings clearly to teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain documentation and training materials including job aids.
