Job summary

SCAN Health Plan is seeking a Director of Value-Based Care Network & Operations Strategy to lead TCoC initiatives and non-clinical cost management. The role partners with Clinical Programs to identify opportunity areas, design networks, and drive performance improvements across the organization.

You will collaborate with Finance, Analytics, Network Management, and Operations to optimize provider networks, improve referral patterns, and deliver measurable financial impact while guiding

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in value-based care, healthcare operations, provider networks, managed care, or healthcare strategy.
• 5 years of leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of provider contracting, claims operations, payment methodologies, and healthcare economics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement network and operational strategies to improve Total Cost of Care (TCoC).
• Lead non-clinical cost management programs (e.g., Out-of-Area, CAR-T, transplant).
• Partner with Clinical Programs, Network Management, and Operations to drive performance and cost efficiency.
• Lead network design, contracting, and referral pattern improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Analytics, and Member Experience to report on TCoC performance.
