Job summary

Tryon Med is seeking a Director, Value-Based Care to lead the strategy and integration of value-based initiatives across the organization. This role partners with executive, clinical, operational leadership and external partners to align care delivery with quality, outcomes, and cost goals.

The Director will drive governance, develop cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment of workflows across primary, specialty, and ancillary services to sustain high-performing care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of leadership in healthcare operations.
• Experience with value-based care models (e.g., ACOs, risk-based contracts).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and partner with physicians, executives, and operational leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead value-based care strategy and governance across the organization.
• Translate payer and population health objectives into enterprise priorities.
• Align value-based care strategies with organizational goals to maximize performance.
• Build relationships with physicians and executive stakeholders to guide initiatives.
• Monitor performance metrics and ROI; drive data-informed improvements.
• Mentor VBC team and remove barriers to execution.
