Job summary

Astrana Health in Southern California seeks an Associate Director - Value-Based Care Sales to drive ACO growth. You will build relationships with independent primary care practices and local partners, recruit practices for government value-based contracts, and onboard them into the ACO program while meeting growth targets.

The role requires 8+ years in healthcare growth leadership, deep knowledge of healthcare regulations, exceptional communication, and entrepreneurial drive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• At least 8 years of experience in healthcare growth leadership, preferably in ACO settings.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and quality improvement methodologies.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on achieving business goals and driving operational excellence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Cantonese/Mandarin-speaking preferred!

Responsibilities

• Develop net new relationships to drive growth in new and existing markets.
• Engage with prospective practices in a consultative manner to evaluate fit and secure commitment.
• Build rapport with clinical and business staff and deliver financial benefits analyses.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and respond to inbound leads for assigned market.
• Extend and negotiate participation agreements and contracts.
• Track prospecting activity and pipeline; participate in weekly reviews.
• Establish growth plans and onboard recruited practices to the program.
