Job summary

Merraine Group is seeking a Value Analysis Nurse to bridge clinical practice and supply chain strategy within a nationally recognized pediatric healthcare system. You will lead value analysis initiatives, support evidence-based purchasing decisions, standardize products, and drive cost savings while maintaining patient care.

The role requires a BSN, an active RN license, and at least five years in acute care, with three years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
• Current RN license in practice state or multi-state eligibility
• Minimum 5 years of acute care nursing experience
• At least 3 years in leadership or management roles
• Experience with medical supplies, supply chain, value analysis, or cost-benefit evaluation
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Lead value analysis projects from planning through implementation with alignment to priorities
• Partner with clinical, surgical, finance, and supply chain leaders to evaluate products and services
• Facilitate value analysis committee meetings and guide product reviews
• Analyze clinical evidence, utilization trends, and financial data to support purchasing decisions
• Coordinate product trials and conversions with objective assessment processes
• Identify opportunities to reduce variation and improve standardization for cost savings
• Collaborate with physicians to build consensus on product selection and utilization
• Evaluate trays, disposables vs reusable products for cost-effectiveness
• Model financial impact of proposed changes with finance leadership
• Collaborate on recalls and ensure timely removal of affected items
• Educate staff on new products and best practices for utilization
• Stay current on literature, trends, and technologies
