Job summary

RSM is seeking an Associate for its Value Acceleration Solutions (VAS) team within Deal Services. The position supports private equity and corporate clients by analyzing revenue and cost synergies and building standalone headcount and cost models for post-merger integration and separation planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Understanding of core corporate functions and related performance drivers.
• Ability to travel locally and nationally up to 40% with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support private equity and corporate clients with analysis of revenue and cost synergies and cost takeout opportunities.
• Analyze and synthesize data to develop decision-ready outputs for synergy quantification.
• Assess carve-out businesses to understand structure, headcount, costs, and separation implications.
• Develop headcount and cost models across functional areas for integration and separation planning.
• Maintain project plans, track progress, and escalate risks and issues to leadership.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather updates and ensure alignment across workstreams.
