Job summary

Armanino is hiring for a senior valuation leadership role in Chicago. You will lead the valuation practice, mentor analysts, and deliver projects across financial reporting, tax, and M&A. You’ll scope engagements, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery while expanding client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in business valuation, CPA/ASA/CFA/ABV/CVA or similar, and strong communication, reporting, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, statistics, mathematics, or engineering required.
Minimum of 8 years of valuation experience in a valuation practice of a CPA firm.
Professional designations such as ASA, CPA, CFA, CEIV, CVFI, ABV, or CVA highly preferred.
Strong client communication and report writing skills; ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

Manage, review, and deliver business valuation projects for financial reporting, tax, 409A, planning, litigation support, or M&A.
Mentor and develop a team of analysts supporting the valuation practice.
Review and perform financial modeling including income, asset, and market approaches.
Ensure projects are completed on budget and on time; participate in scoping calls and budget estimates.
Manage client relationships and maintain frequent communication throughout the valuation process.
Drive internal and external business development and oversee key metrics (billing, utilization, A/R).
