Job summary

Armanino LLP’s Valuation and Forensics Practice seeks a Manager to own complex valuation engagements from scoping to defense of conclusions. You will be the go-to technical resource on multiple valuation specialties, mentoring staff and collaborating with directors and partners.

You will build, review, and defend financial models across various approaches, applying ASC and IRS guidance, while communicating with auditors, clients, and regulators to support assumptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years valuation experience in a national firm or practice.
• Strong client communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent report writing and memo writing abilities.
• Command of ASC 805, ASC 350/360, ASC 718/409A, ASC 820.

Responsibilities

• Manage, review, and deliver valuation projects for financial reporting, gift/estate tax, 409A/ ASC 718, M&A, etc.
• Mentor staff and senior analysts; provide coaching.
• Prepare engagement letters with directors/partners.
• Build and defend financial models across income, market, asset approaches and simulations.
• Lead external review responses with audit teams and clients.
• Ensure pipeline projects are on budget and on time.
• Communicate with key client contacts throughout valuation process.
• Identify opportunities to grow client relationships across teams.
