Valuation Research Corporation (VRC) is seeking a software-enabled valuation professional to combine valuation expertise with technology to analyze differences across models and support onboarding reviews. You will help improve tools used to deliver technology-enabled valuation solutions to clients.

You will compare results across proprietary models, investigate inputs, configurations, and outputs, and collaborate with portfolio valuation teams to determine resolutions.

Qualificações

• 2 to 4 years of professional software application development and support experience.
• 0-2 years’ work experience in a financial analysis role. Prior M&A experience at a valuation firm or public accounting firm is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Progress toward ASA, CFA, or ABV designations is a plus.
• Working/advanced knowledge of Excel and ability to master new tasks quickly.

Responsabilidades

• Compare valuation results across proprietary models for new and existing client portfolios.
• Investigate differences in inputs, assumptions, calculations, market data, security mapping, model setup, and outputs.
• Identify causes of divergence (data, inputs, settings, software, methodology).
• Partner with valuation teams to review findings and determine resolution.
• Assess materiality and priority of follow-up work, and escalate significant issues.
• Document findings, decisions, evidence, and solutions; retest changes.
• Document software issues clearly for developers to reproduce and fix.
• Support onboarding validation by confirming data, mappings, configurations, and results meet criteria.
• Turn recurring findings into stronger processes, checks, training, and tech enhancements.
