This role combines valuation experience with technology to investigate differences across valuation models, support onboarding reviews, and help improve the processes and tools used to deliver technology-enabled valuation solutions to clients.

What you will do:
  • Compare valuation results across proprietary models for new and existing client portfolios.
  • Investigate differences in inputs, assumptions, calculations, market data, security mapping, model setup, and outputs to identify where results diverge.
  • Identify whether differences are caused by source data, user inputs, model configuration, software issues, or expected variations in methodology.
  • Partner with portfolio valuation teams to review findings, agree on issue classification, and determine the appropriate resolution.
  • Assess whether identified differences are material or recurring, prioritize the follow-up work, and bring significant valuation, methodology, data, or software issues to senior team members.
  • Maintain a clear record of findings, decisions, supporting evidence, and agreed solutions, then retest changes to confirm that each issue is resolved.
  • Document software issues clearly so developers can reproduce, prioritize, and resolve them.
  • Support onboarding validation by confirming that portfolio data, security mappings, model configurations, and valuation results meet agreed readiness and acceptance criteria.
  • Turn recurring findings into stronger processes, validation checks, training materials, and technology enhancements
What you will need:
  • 2 to 4 years of professional software application development and support experience
  • 0-2 years’ work experience in a financial analysis role. Prior M&A experience at a valuation firm or public accounting firm is a plus
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. Any coursework in valuation, financial statement analysis is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
