Job summary

Valuation Research Corporation (VRC) is seeking a Software Engineer II to build scalable fintech solutions supporting financial modeling, portfolio valuation, and client reporting. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into maintainable software, integrate external data platforms, and support cloud infrastructure.

You will design, test, and deploy features, own small projects, and contribute to CI/CD, security, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of software development experience.
• Experience with backend stack and frontend frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized deployments.
• Ability to estimate work and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy features for financial modeling, valuation, risk analytics, and reporting.
• Own small projects from requirements through deployment.
• Translate business needs into technical designs with stakeholders.
• Integrate third-party platforms and market data providers.
• Build data workflows for reporting and analytics.
