Job summary

Colliers is seeking a qualified professional to manage client relationships and team members in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves overseeing appraisal assignments and leveraging expertise in discounted cash flow and other valuation methods.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and completion of advanced appraisal coursework preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Originate new client relationships and foster existing ones.
  • Manage team members across geographies to deliver exceptional client service and results.
  • Allocate appraisal assignments.
  • Supervise trainee appraisers.
  • Execute valuation and appraisal assignments (financial reporting, purchase accounting, Net Asset Value, periodic reporting, tax, lending, etc.) for corporate clients, REITs (publicly traded & non-traded), pension funds, open and closed-end funds, lenders, etc.
  • Apply expertise in discounted cash flow (Argus and MS Excel), Sales Comparison Approach, Cost Approach, and Highest & Best Use.
  • Review industry surveys, benchmarks, economic and demographic trends.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting the results of analyses in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications
  • MAI designation required.
  • 10+ years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree and completion of advanced appraisal coursework preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.

Salary

100% commission based. Salary ranges vary by role, level, and location; individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as experience and education.

Benefits

Employees and families receive options for employer‑subsidized medical benefits (including RX), dental, vision, basic life/AD&D insurance, and short‑term / long‑term disability. Employees may enroll in the company’s 401(k) plan with an employer match. Paid time off includes 10 days of sick leave, 12 weeks for birth parents, and 4 weeks for non‑birth parents (including adoptive/foster parents) after 90 days of employment. Additional benefits may be available under applicable state law.

Bonus

Eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
