Job summary

Smith + Howard is seeking a Valuation & Litigation Support Manager to lead valuation, litigation support, and forensic engagements; guiding analyses and mentoring staff while managing client relationships and project deliverables.

You will collaborate with attorneys and executives, applying AI and analytics to valuation models and supporting expert testimony with rigorous professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in litigation support, forensic accounting, valuation, or financial consulting.
• CPA or related certification is preferred (CPA, CFF, CFE, ABV, ASA, or CVA).
• Experience with commercial litigation, economic damages, fraud investigations, forensic analysis, and business valuation.
• Strong financial analysis, investigative, and Excel skills with large datasets.
• Familiarity with valuation/litigation databases such as BVResources, Tagnifi, KTMine, Partnership Profiles, Kroll Cost of Capital.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of valuation, litigation support, and forensic engagements; deliver high-quality analyses.
• Investigate and analyze financial records and large datasets to support litigation and valuation.
• Consult with attorneys and clients through case development, discovery, and expert testimony.
• Lead the preparation and review of valuation models, expert reports, and supporting analyses.
• Build and review complex financial models and leverage data analytics to identify trends.
• Manage client relationships and ensure quality, timely delivery of engagements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members and manage multiple projects.
• Support business development through proposals, presentations, and opportunity identification.
• Lead the practice in integrating AI and advanced analytics into valuation models.
• Apply AI-enabled tools across litigation and forensics while maintaining defensibility.
