Harris + Co is partnered with a national independent valuation and dispute consulting firm that is looking to add an experienced Valuation and Litigation Manager to its team.

About the Role

As a Valuation and Litigation Manager, you will play a leadership role overseeing complex valuation and financial dispute engagements. This position involves managing projects and teams while partnering closely with attorneys, expert witnesses, and corporate clients to deliver accurate, well-supported financial analyses used in litigation and dispute resolution matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead litigation valuation engagements from start to finish, ensuring high-quality work, technical accuracy, and timely completion.
• Perform business valuations, forensic accounting analyses, and economic damages assessments related to litigation matters.
• Develop and review expert witness reports, valuation models, and financial damage calculations prepared for legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with legal counsel, company leadership, and expert witnesses to support case strategy and financial arguments.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, agreements, and market or industry data to substantiate litigation claims and damages positions.
• Supervise and mentor associates and analysts, supporting their professional growth and technical development in valuation and forensic methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• Advanced degree or professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, ASA, or ABV are preferred
• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in litigation valuation, forensic accounting, or economic damages analysis
• Experience preparing expert witness and rebuttal reports for litigation matters
• Advanced financial modeling, damages quantification, and forensic accounting capabilities
• Experience supporting financial analyses used in court proceedings and dispute matters
• Familiarity with litigation processes, expert testimony, and financial dispute resolution
• Ability to explain complex financial issues clearly and persuasively to attorneys, clients, and legal stakeholders
• Demonstrated success leading teams, managing multiple engagements, and mentoring junior staff
