Job summary

APEXA is seeking a self-motivated Document Validation Specialist for a fully remote role. You will validate documents uploaded to the APEXA system, review in English and French, and work independently to meet tight turnaround times.

You will support risk and compliance analyses, assist customer support with validation inquiries, and participate in peer reviews to maintain high quality standards.

Who are we?

APEXA is a web-based platform that manages the contracting and compliance of all independent Life Insurance Advisors in Canada. Based in Toronto, Ontario, we are dedicated to helping our clients find ways to adapt the ever-changing insurance regulatory and compliance environment by offering transformative solutions.

We are searching for a self-motivated team member to assume the role of Document Validation Specialist for APEXA. We are a small and nimble team that prides ourselves on being innovative, fast-paced and customer focused. The candidate must be flexible to work overtime if required to meet our service level standards.

This role is fully-remote.

In this role, you will:

• Validate the accuracy of documents uploaded to the APEXA system based on specific criteria
• Review documents in both English & French
• Work independently to monitor incoming work and complete validations within specified turn-around times
• Learn processes and procedures efficiently for risk and compliance analysis
• Assist the customer support team respond to validation-related inquiries
• Support peer review of validated items to help maintain our quality standards
• Occasionally email advisors & corporations to correct any validation-related errors

Dans ce rôle, vous devrez :

• Valider l’exactitude des documents téléversés dans le système APEXA en fonction de critères spécifiques
• Examiner les documents en anglais et en français
• Travailler de manière autonome pour surveiller les documents entrants et effectuer les validations dans les délais impartis
• Apprendre efficacement les processus et procédures pour l’analyse des risques et de la conformité
• Aider l’équipe du support client à répondre aux demandes liées à la validation
• Effectuer une révision par les pairs des documents validés afin de maintenir nos standards de qualité
• Envoyer occasionnellement des courriels aux conseillers et aux entreprises pour corriger les erreurs liées à la validation
