Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead validated-environment and laboratory construction projects across multiple sites.

You will drive IQ/OQ/PQ, qualification activities, data integrity, and regulatory readiness to ensure operational excellence and compliant delivery. Reporting to the Project Executive, you will partner with Engineering, QA/Validation, Delivery, Sponsors, and regional leadership to meet scope, schedule, and budget baselines while maintaining quality and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Architecture or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and close validated environment projects across multiple sites, ensuring IQ/OQ/PQ, equipment qualification, data integrity, and regulatory expectations are met.
• Serve as the on-site/project lead, coordinating Owners, Architects, Engineers, QA/Validation, Contractors, and Vendors to achieve objectives within validated-state constraints.
• Define and manage project scope, schedule, and budget baselines; monitor progress and report deviations; drive schedule with urgency while maintaining quality.
• Develop validation strategies and documentation aligned with corporate validation policy.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project-level risks; elevate with proposed remedies.
• Track and report project performance to leadership including schedule, budget, risk, QA/validation progress, and regulatory readiness.
• Manage change orders, delays, procurement, and contract administration; ensure logs are up-to-date; maintain documentation per Solution Navigator standards.
• Ensure robust documentation controls meeting QA and regulatory standards and support inspections.
• Seek opportunities to improve validation workflows and data integrity across projects.
• Maintain relationships with sponsors and stakeholders; act as trusted advisor on validated-environment delivery and compliance.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor performance; align with timelines and objectives.
• Manage project finances at assignment level including budgeting and forecasting; ensure alignment with baselines.
• Prepare the team for regulatory inspections and audits through thorough documentation and traceability.
• Foster safe, compliant, and collaborative project environment; mentor junior team members.
