Job summary

SP Plus Corporation in Memphis is seeking an enthusiastic valet attendant to support daily location operations. You will greet guests, assist with vehicle entry and exit, and ensure parking procedures comply with policies and safety standards.

You will also help hire, train, and coach a valet team, schedule staffing, and manage daily paperwork while maintaining professional client relations. The role requires a valid driver's license, clear communication, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Minimal high school diploma or equivalent and a minimal 6 month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Driver’s License required with valid state-issued license and address; may require manual transmission capability.
• Oral Communication: Speaks clearly; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.
• Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; reads and interprets written information.
• Customer Service: Maintains positive attitude; responds courteously.
• Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment; handles delays or unexpected events.
• Judgment: Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
• Physical Demands: Frequent sitting/standing; walking and running for extended periods; lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously.
• Ensure customers receive timely service.
• Assist customers in and out of their vehicle.
• Drive, park, and retrieve customer vehicles safely and professionally.
• Assist with hiring, training, and coaching a valet team.
• Create staffing schedules based on daily vehicle volume.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and security of vehicles/keys.
• Prepare and process daily paperwork per audit standards.
• Keep drive lanes and crosswalks clean.
• Develop and implement staging plans to maximize parking capacity.
• Substitute for any position as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.
