Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is seeking a courteous valet attendant to support day-to-day operations in Orlando. You will greet guests, assist with vehicle entry and exit, and uphold a professional image while following location guidelines.

This role requires safe driving, parking, and retrieval, plus staffing coordination and adherence to SOPs. A minimal high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required; training will ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Minimal high school diploma or equivalent and a minimal 6 month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Driver’s license required with valid state-issued license and acceptable driving record.
• Oral communication: speaks clearly, listens and clarifies as needed.
• Written communication: reads and writes clearly and informatively.
• Customer service: maintains a positive attitude and handles requests professionally.
• Adaptability: able to adjust to changes, delays, or unexpected events.
• Judgment: exercises sound and accurate judgment.
• Physical demands: ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds; may require stairs/elevators.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously.
• Ensure customers receive timely service.
• Assist customers in and out of their vehicle.
• Drive, park, and retrieve customer vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Assist with hiring, training, and coaching an excellent valet team.
• Create a staffing schedule according to anticipated daily vehicle volume.
• Maintain compliance with standard operating procedures while ensuring safety and security of vehicles and keys.
• Prepare and process daily paperwork according to audit standards.
• Keep drive lanes and crosswalks clean of debris, water, oil spills, etc.
• Create and implement a successful staging plan to maximize parking capacity.
• Identify vehicle makes/models and have general knowledge of operations.
• Substitute for any position as needed.
• Complete other duties as required.
