Job summary

Mt. Bachelor is seeking a valet staff member in the rental department to deliver exceptional guest service and manage the valet/overnight storage system for guests. You will assist with lines, ensure correct gear distribution, and support rentals with boot fitting as needed.

The role is both indoors and outdoors, requiring standing for long periods, with occasional shoveling and gear movement. Starting late morning each day, you will ensure guests receive proper storage of equipment, and assist

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year in customer service, retail, hospitality, or related field.
• Must pass certification test with binding manufacturers.
• Ability to push 50 lbs and stand outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Have competent product knowledge of valet services, overnight storage services, and rental products.
• Understand all procedures for the point-of-sale system.
• Practice safe operating procedures while using all equipment, tools, and machines.
• Help guests accurately and in a timely manner with every guest-facing transaction.
• Properly check gear back in correctly and hand guests any claim tickets necessary.
• Assist with rental boot fitting as needed.
• Know the mountain layout including lodges, lifts, terrain, and operating schedules.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Self-manage and support co-workers with teamwork on daily projects.
