Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dulles in Herndon, VA seeks a friendly valet attendant to warmly greet guests, assist with luggage, and transport guests to/from the airport. You will help maintain a smooth driveway flow and provide directions for hotel facilities and local attractions.

Prior hotel valet or customer-service experience is preferred; a clean driving record and strong communication skills are required. This is an hourly role with competitive pay and benefits, including discount programs and dailyPay

Qualifications

• Hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to deal with customers with patience and diplomacy.
• Identify luggage/pickup points from tags and signs.
• Lift and move luggage and packages safely.
• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and perform tasks.
• Excellent driving record and safe vehicle handling.
• Clear verbal and written communication, adaptable to audience.
• Able to bend, reach, and maneuver in a busy hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Comprehend and abide by traffic regulations while transporting guests to and from the airport terminal or other designated site.
• Park guest vehicles and/or retrieve valet parked guest vehicles; use tickets for accurate delivery.
• Move between doors and hotel areas to assist guests as needed.
• Greet guests with a friendly, sincere welcome on arrival.
• Open car doors for arriving and departing guests.
• Respond to guest inquiries about hotel features, services, and assistance.
• Provide directions to hotel facilities and nearby attractions.
• Maintain driveway traffic flow to ensure accessible hotel entrance and loading areas.
• Listen to and respond to guest and associate inquiries promptly.
• Lift luggage and boxes from vehicles to luggage carts or other transport.
• Communicate clearly the features and services of hotel facilities.
