Job summary

Skytop Lodge, Inc. is seeking a Valet Door Attendant to be the first point of contact for guests. You will greet guests, open doors, park and retrieve vehicles, and assist other departments as needed.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, maintaining neat work areas, and communicating with Front Desk, Shuttles, Security and Maintenance. Prior Bell Person or Door Attendant experience is helpful but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, speaking and understanding English is required.
• Strong customer relations and communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to assist guests and coordinate with hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival in a timely manner.
• Visually inspect guest vehicles for damages.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles.
• Open hotel doors for guests.
• Keep assigned areas neat and tidy.
• Coordinate via radio with Front Desk, Operators, Shuttles, Security, Housekeeping and Maintenance.
• Remove snow/ice from vehicles and area.
• Tend lobby fireplace.
• Assist with Bellman duties when needed.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to appropriate departments.
