Qualifications

  • Minimum age 21 years.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • Casino/Hotel experience preferred.
  • 4+ years customer service experience; upscale hotel experience preferred.
  • 2+ years in Bell Attendant or related role preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • 5 years of safe driving experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests at the Valet Porte-Cochere and assist with luggage and vehicle parking.
  • Safely drive guests' vehicles to designated areas and manage keys, tickets, and damage reports.
  • Inspect vehicles for prior damage and document accordingly.
  • Return vehicles to guests promptly while maintaining safe driving practices.
  • Report issues to supervisor promptly and maintain high service standards.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and a clean, organized valet area.
  • Accommodate guest requests with urgency and personalized recommendations.

Job Summary

The Valet Attendant is responsible for making the first and last impression for our guests, delivering exceptional service with warmth and enthusiasm, efficiency, and professionalism. You’ll work closely with the Bell and Front Desk team to ensure seamless arrivals and departures, creating memorable experiences from curb to room while safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

Greets customer at Valet Porte-Cochere may assist in transporting luggage to and from vehicles to guest rooms and parks and retrieves customer’s passenger vehicles while creating a seamless guest service experience.

Safely drive guests’ vehicles to designated areas of Valet lots while completing the appropriate tasks including damage report, proper recording of space number, and delivery of keys to the cashier desk.

Accurately completes Luggage tags and Valet tickets which include inspection of vehicle for prior damage.

Safely returns any vehicles from the Valet parking area back to customers while maintaining a safe speed and aware of surrounding activity while driving.

Reporting all issues and concerns immediately to the supervisor.

Maintain energy and enthusiasm, willingness to serve, and consistently demonstrate property and company service standards for the duration of shift

Exhibits a sincere desire and compliance with all guest requests.

Will demonstrate sense of urgency when assisting guests, maintaining a calm and composed look.

Proactively offers service/assistance, and offers personalized recommendations based on current events and offers without prompting

Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe valet area.

Comply with regulatory, company and department policies and procedures, security guidelines and departmental SOPs.

What You Will Need
  • Minimum of 21yrs of age.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • Casino/Hotelexperiencepreferred.
  • Minimumof four (4)years’customer service experience isrequired.Experience within an upscale hotel preferred.
  • Minimumof two (2) years’ experience as a Bell Attendant, Bell Captain or related position ispreferred.
  • Musthavegoodverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.
  • Musthaveexcellentorganizationalskillswiththeabilitytoidentifyandprioritizeissues,astheyarise.
  • Skillinestablishingandmaintainingeffectiveworkingrelationshipswithco-workers.
  • Abilitytoread,write,andcommunicateverballyinEnglish.
  • 5yearsofsafedrivingexperienceinvehicle.
  • Abilitytoupholdanddemonstratethehighestlevelofintegrityinallsituationsandrecognizestandardsrequiredbyaregulatedbusiness.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Requiresseldomsitting, kneeling, lifting/carrying of 51-100 lbs.;occasionalbending,reaching, andcrouching
  • Copying & writing of numbers
  • Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity as well as the ability to distinguish letters,symbolsand currency
  • Work area is subject to variable temperatures.
