Job summary

Bally's Interactive in Chicago, IL seeks a valet attendant to park and retrieve guests' vehicles safely and courteously. You will greet guests, explain procedures, and maintain accurate logs while upholding casino safety standards.

Responsibilities include handling keys, keeping areas tidy, answering calls promptly, and assisting with guest requests. The role requires mobility, stamina, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and analytical abilities.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to obtain gaming license.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain insurance.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve guests' vehicles safely and damage-free.
• Greet guests with a positive, friendly demeanor.
• Explain parking and retrieval procedures to guests.
• Sprint to/from vehicles as needed.
• Answer valet phone within 3 rings with professional etiquette.
• Maintain and label guest keys and tags.
• Keep valet area neat and free of trash.
• Log shift records accurately.
• Assist guests or connect them to the right person for assistance.
• Assist with valet area and casino cleanliness.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Park and retrieve guests vehicles in a safe and damage free manor.
• Greet the guest with positive body manner and friendly demeanor.
• Adheres to the guidelines of the Casino’s parking and retrieval procedures.
• Explain to guests the Casino’s parking and retrieval procedure to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Must be able to sprint to/from vehicles.
• Must strive to answer the valet phone within 3 rings and maintain professional telephone etiquette.
• Maintain proper storage and labeling of guest keys and tags.
• Keep the valet area neat and free of trash.
• Maintain appropriate logbook or records during shift.
• Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects or assignments.
• Hand out valet tickets and perform damage inspections of all vehicles before parked.
• Respond to reasonable guest requests or place guest in contact with appropriate person for assistance.
• Assist with the cleanliness of the Valet area and the casino property
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
• No moving violations within the last 6 months.
• Must know and abide by all applicable federal DOT, state, and local driving regulations.
• Able to drive a manual or standard shift transmission.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured under our company policy.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

• Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk.
• Must be able to run between 1-15 miles (throughout the course of a shift)
• Exposure to climate environment.
• Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel.
• The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
