Job summary

Ballys Chicago Operating Co LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking a reliable valet attendant to park and retrieve guests' vehicles and greet guests with a friendly demeanor. This full-time on-site role requires compliance with casino parking procedures, ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and maintaining keys and tickets.

Candidates must be 21+, able to obtain a gaming license, and possess a valid driver's license; the position offers on-site parking and opportunities to contribute to guest

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.
• No moving violations within the last 6 months.
• Must know and abide by all applicable federal DOT, state, and local driving regulations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insured under the company policy.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve guests' vehicles in a safe and damage-free manner.
• Greet the guests with a positive demeanor and friendly attitude.
• Explain to guests the casino’s parking and retrieval procedures to ensure satisfaction.
• Sprint to/from vehicles as needed.
• Answer the valet phone within 3 rings and maintain professional telephone etiquette.
• Maintain proper storage and labeling of guest keys and tags.
• Keep the valet area neat and free of trash.
• Assist with the cleanliness of the valet area and casino property.
• Hand out valet tickets and perform damage inspections of all vehicles before parking.
• Respond to guest requests or connect them with the appropriate person for assistance.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Park and retrieve guests vehicles in a safe and damage free manor.
• Greet the guest with positive body manner and friendly demeanor.
• Adheres to the guidelines of the Casino’s parking and retrieval procedures.
• Explain to guests the Casino’s parking and retrieval procedure to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Must be able to sprint to/from vehicles.
• Must strive to answer the valet phone within 3 rings and maintain professional telephone etiquette.
• Maintain proper storage and labeling of guest keys and tags.
• Keep the valet area neat and free of trash.
• Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects or assignments.
• Hand out valet tickets and perform damage inspections of all vehicles before parked.
• Respond to reasonable guest requests or place guest in contact with appropriate person for assistance.
• Assist with the cleanliness of the Valet area and the casino property
• All other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk.
