Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Chicago is seeking a Valet Parking Attendant to greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles, and maintain orderly valet operations. The role involves quick, courteous service, manual vehicle handling, and logging activities in a casino setting.

Candidates must be 21+, have a valid Illinois driver’s license, and be able to obtain a gaming license. Night, weekend, and holiday availability is required in this high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.
• Must know and abide by all applicable federal, state, and local driving regulations.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under company policy.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve guests vehicles safely and without damage.
• Greet guests with a positive, friendly demeanor.
• Explain parking procedures to guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle keys and tags, maintain logs, and keep the area tidy.
• Answer valet phone promptly and maintain professional etiquette.
• Respond to guest requests and coordinate with appropriate staff as needed.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve guests vehicles in a safe and damage free manor.
• Greet the guest with positive body manner and friendly demeanor.
• Adheres to the guidelines of the Casino's parking and retrieval procedures.
• Explain to guests the Casino's parking and retrieval procedure to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Must be able to sprint to/from vehicles.
• Must strive to answer the valet phone within 3 rings and maintain professional telephone etiquette.
• Maintain proper storage and labeling of guest keys and tags.
• Keep the valet area neat and free of trash.
• Maintain appropriate logbook or records during shift.
• Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects or assignments.
• Hand out valet tickets and perform damage inspections of all vehicles before parked.
• Respond to reasonable guest requests or place guest in contact with appropriate person for assistance.
• Assist with the cleanliness of the Valet area and the casino property
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
• No moving violations within the last 6 months.
• Must know and abide by all applicable federal DOT, state, and local driving regulations.
• Able to drive a manual or standard shift transmission.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and the ability to be insured under our company policy.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have excellent communication, and analytical
• Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk.
• Must be able to run between 1-15 miles (throughout the course of a shift)
• Exposure to climate environment.
• Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel.
• The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
