Job summary

Biopharma Careers offers a Future Talent Program internship in our Vaccines and Advanced Biotechnologies Process R&D division. Under a project mentor, you will perform lab-scale process development/scale-up studies and develop scalable cell culture processes for vaccine production.

The role requires hands-on lab work, documentation, and compliance with safety and training. Expected to begin in May or June 2027, with a hybrid work arrangement and a fixed-term internship status.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be enrolled in a BS/BA in Chemical/Biomedical/Biological Engineering, Bioengineering, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or closely related field.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records, and comply with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab-scale process development and scale-up studies for vaccine production.
• Develop robust, scalable cell culture processes for vaccine production.
• Support GMP campaign preparation, execution, and closeout for pilot-scale manufacturing.
• Maintain careful notes, training compliance, and laboratory safety for team.
• Convey results clearly in verbal and written formats.
