Job summary

Biopharma Careers is seeking a scientific co-op for the Vaccines and Advanced Biotechnologies Process Research & Development division. Under a project mentor, you will perform benchwork to execute, optimize, and troubleshoot downstream process unit operations and basic analytical techniques.

The role supports development principles and technology transfer toward manufacturing scale. You will contribute to pilot-scale campaigns, design and analyze purification experiments, and present findings in

Qualifications

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation and adaptability.
Must learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with policies.
Hands-on laboratory experience is required.
Strong organization and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct benchwork to execute, optimize, and troubleshoot downstream process unit operations and analytical techniques.
Contribute to development of purification bioprocess concepts and methods for scale-up to pilot and manufacturing transfer.
Design, execute, and analyze experiments to maximize understanding of purification bioprocesses and present results to the team.
