Job summary

FoundCare Inc. seeks a Medical Assistant with vaccine coordination experience to support its immunization program in West Palm Beach.

You will manage vaccine storage, inventory, and compliance with VFC and VFA requirements, while performing patient rooming, vaccine administration, and EMR documentation as part of a clinical team. You will ensure accurate vaccine records, assist with clinical procedures, and help maintain patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vaccine storage, handling and CDC schedules.
• Foundational clinical assisting and EMR documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Strong attention to detail and patient-focused service.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vaccine inventory, storage, and VFC/VFA compliance.
• Monitor temperatures and manage vaccine shipments and expiry dates.
• Document vaccines in Florida SHOTS and EMR accurately.
• Provide patient rooming, vitals, and assist with examinations and procedures.
• Administer vaccines and medications per physician orders; educate patients.
• Maintain HIPAA/OSHA compliance and support care teams as needed.
