Job summary

First Chair Destinations is seeking a Property Caretaker to support a portfolio of vacation rental homes. You will handle owner and guest relations, maintenance, and housekeeping, with cross-functional teamwork across the company.

The role involves light maintenance, inspections, and responding to guest concerns. Schedule ranges from 20 to 30 hours weekly, with potential weekend/holiday shifts and travel between properties within the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry is highly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping, maintenance or similar role.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt to interruptions.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Tech-savvy with experience using digital systems and mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations of the assigned portfolio of homes and identify process improvements.
• Respond to guest and homeowner concerns via emails, calls and tickets.
• Perform light maintenance tasks (bulbs, hinges, unclog toilets).
• Conduct regular inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals.
• Collaborate with management on escalated guest/homeowner issues.
