Job summary

Branex Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to collaborate with the Global VAA Lead and cross-functional teams to ensure a flawless launch of VAA suppliers. You will monitor progress, manage documents, and support readiness audits across multiple launch phases.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive assembly, 4+ years in project management, and strong communication in English. Occasional travel to plants and supplier facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent training and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in automotive industry with hands-on experience in assembly processes, tooling and equipment, material flow, quality and fast-paced production environment.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Project/Program Management.
• Must have prior experience in Engine Dress.
• Working knowledge of just-in-time assembly, sequencing, time studies, line balancing and throughput analysis.
• Well-versed in PFMEA development and error-proofing methodologies (vision systems, presence sensing, assembly sequence).
• Must be fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with and take directions from the Global VAA Lead to guide and monitor the VAA Supplier’s progress to ensure launch requirements are met.
• Support the Global VAA Lead and Program Team in VAA Technical Reviews and evaluation of VAA quote submissions; provide inputs to feasibility and business case studies.
• Assist in readiness audits at various launch phases (Readiness Valve Check List and System Validation Build Audits).
• Schedule meetings with the PFMEA Coordinator and participate in VAA Level 3 PFMEA workshops.
• Coordinate with groups to obtain documents for the VAA Supplier (Control Drawings, MPD, PFEP).
• Prepare and present monthly summaries of VAA Supplier’s progress to senior management.
• Review and forward all ECRs related to VAA Supplier and document impact.
• Assist in reviewing and approving sequence racks, plant layout, assembly processes, tooling and equipment with the VAA Supplier.
• Collaborate with Plant Quality Engineer on the VAA Supplier’s quality plan.
• Participate in weekly open issues review meetings and cross-functional problem-solving sessions.
